Ben Kendall is a self-taught contemporary landscape painter based in Norwich. He loves creating bold, semi-abstract impressions of the coast, countryside and skylines that he knows and loves. He works largely in acrylic and mixed media to capture the big skies and wild seas of Norfolk and East Anglia. He aims to bring a modern twist to classically inspired composition. He is also known for his still life painting and was shortlisted for the Sir John Hurt Prize 2023 these. He is a co-founder and curator of the Emerge exhibition at The Undercroft, Norwich, providing a platform for local emerging artists.

Ben has exhibited and sold work across the UK. His collections can be found in a number of Norfolk galleries including The Gallery Norfolk in Cromer, The Giggly Goat in Norwich and The Garage Studio in Ringstead.
